Blessing box in town of chatham 8-5-22

Caney Lake Community Foundation and the Town of Chatham are happy to present our new community Blessing Box, located at town hall.   This box will be filled with non-perishable food and supplies for those in need.  People can take what they need and leave what they can.

It is our hope that residents, businesses and churches in the area will help us by donating when they can.

A very special thanks to Mr. Mark Droesser with A-1 Honey Do's for building the blessing box and donating it to the community.

Along with, No Child Goes Hungry, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit that donated $300 to help get this project started.  http://www.nochildgoeshungry.net/

We decided to repair and maintain the Town of Chatham flowerbeds as one of our beautification projects this year.  We would like to thank the Ladies of the Lake Charity Group and other  volunteers that came out and helped us on our first workday.  We will schedule another workday in the future to finish up.

      promoting community involvement

In March of 2020, CLCF started working on our first community project, to erect a flagpole at the Caney Lake spillway boat ramp to be used for future Prayer at the Pole events in our community.  We recognize and appreciate all of the sacrifices that our veterans and current troops endure so that we can live a life of FREEDOM.
